What do we offer?

  • An initial consultation

     in your own home
  • First visit as your midwife

when your lead midwife will get to know you better and make a full assessment of your needs. She will carry out a full antenatal check and arrange blood tests and scans for you. Scans can be either with the NHS or privately with Mums. There will be plenty of time for you to ask questions. You will be given your pregnancy notes/records to keep with you.
  • Visits during your pregnancy

Approximately 10 visits arranged at a time and place to suit you. These will incorporate a full antenatal check and discussion and planning of labour and birth. Between visits we can deal with any concerns by text, phone or email.
  • Labour and Birth

You will be able to contact us by phone when you go into labour. You will receive one-to-one support throughout your labour and birth.
  • Visits after the birth

Daily visits in the first week. Less frequently (as you wish) after this, until the baby is 28 days old. Lots of support to establish breast feeding.
